Just a word about Jimmy...

Hi,

My name is Dave Greer and I love to fish. I’ve fished in California, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Washington, North Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Texas, New York, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, and 4 Provinces of Canada. I’ve caught all but 3 species of Northern American fresh water fish, and have 3 lake records and 1 Canadian river record. I’ve fished with 11 guides and dozens of local fisherman.

In my opinion Jimmy is the best I ever met or even heard of. I first met Jimmy on a small local lake where he berthed one of his boats here in Texas.

Although there are basics to catching fish everywhere, every lake, river, or stream has it own unique characteristics and conditions that govern whether you will have a productive day of fishing.

On the day I met Jimmy I was fishing for Crappie (without much success) at the local lake marina. After several people telling me “go ask Jimmy” I decided to do so. The general consensus was “he’ll show you how…” Needless to say I’m still taking lessons and catching amazing amounts of fish.

I caught Bream, Crappie, Catfish, Sand Bass, Large Mouth Bass, and Hybrids on trips with Jimmy. The fish have both been large in size and amounts and we have never been skunked (gone without catching fish) in dozens of trips. A trip with Jimmy offers not just fishing, it is a lesson in how, when, where, and why the fish do what they do. A day with Jimmy is not only productive and educational it also is a great experience. He makes it enjoyable. Whether it is catching fish or seeing the lake in its natural beauty. Bald Eagles in their nest, whooping cranes, beautiful isolated caves, flocks of nesting ducks, and everything aquatic that thrives on the lake.

If you want a fishing trip that is both productive and entertaining or just plain enjoyable the fishing technician “Jimmy Phillips” is your man.

Here are just one picture of the results of a Jimmy Phillips guided fishing trip produces.
