Experience I grew up in this area and watched the lakes grow to what they are today. I was and I am fishing on Richland Chambers Lake, Lake Bardwell, Lake Fairfield, Joe Pool Lake and other area lakes. I spent over 35 years developing my skills, techniques, and knowledge of jig fishing for crappie and other fish species. In 1974, I started making soft plastic baits for bass and crappie fishing. In the late seventies, while working at Texas Instruments, I made hand tied crappie jigs and fished in my spare time. The demand for my jigs was too great for me to keep up. I then started making and selling plastic jigs, eventually having distribution in nine states. In 1984 I helped in the development of a live action mechanical bass lure for another company. I fished in at least two dozen Regional Bass Tournaments for the few years. Here's why they call me the "Fishin' Technician" My past career experience in "high tech" electrical design and engineering has become valuable in my current creer as the "Fishin' Technician". An analytical mind and natural instincts are complimented by the use of modern high tech electronics. A Lowrance fish locater, sonar and GPS tracking unit, a modern fish sound immitating device, natural instincts combine to locate fish and determin their pattern. My use of the natural sciences:
